Dr. Pinelopi Antoniadou was born in Xanthi, Greece. In 1983, she was admitted to the Dental School of the Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki (AUT) ranking 3rd at the national entry examinations and being awarded a scholarship by the National Institute of Scholarships (IKY). She received her D.D.S. in 1989. After graduation Dr. Antoniadou was accepted to the Graduate program in Endodontics of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA and was granted a second year tuition waive scholarship. She earned her Diploma in Endodontics and a Master’s degree in 1993. Her dissertation was on “The distribution of SP-like and SOT-like immunoreactive nerve fibers in the rat molar pulp” (available online under the name Pinelopi Antoniadou- Prokopiou).

During her graduate studies she taught clinical endodontics in the predoc department of the school. Dr. Antoniadou has been in private practice since 1993 in Thessaloniki, Greece. She has lectured to national dental conventions and is an active member of the Hellenic Society of Endodontics (EEE), the Hellenic Association of Endodontists, the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and the European Society of Endodology (ESE). Dr. Antoniadou attends Greek and International continuing education dental and endodontic conventions and meetings. Her personal interests include aerobics, mountain skiing and design.
